Mini Cooper T-bones Nissan on El Paso Rd.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash in a residential neighborhood on Saturday, January 16th.

The accident took place shortly after 2 p.m. within the intersection of West Los Ebanos Boulevard and El Paso Road.

Police say the northwest Brownsville collision occurred when the 73-year-old male driver of a 2008 Mini Cooper ran through a stop sign or red light and crashed head-on into the rear passenger’s side of a 2018 Nissan.

Neither the driver responsible for the crash nor the three occupants in the Nissan were injured as a result of the crash.
