Missouri man killed in New Braunfels motorcycle crash

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX –  A man from Missouri was killed after crashing his motorcycle in New Braunfels Thursday evening.

According to KSAT, 38-year-old Brandon Scott Bowers lost control of his motorcycle at about 4:30 p.m. within the 1800 block of Heather Glen Drive, near Kowald Lane.

Police say Bowers was traveling at a high rate of speed when he struck a curb and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Bowers was rushed to Seton Hays Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
