Mitsubishi rear-ends Chevrolet on Horne Rd.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a rear-end collision near the Crosstown Expressway on Wednesday, February 17th.

The accident was reported shortly before 11 a.m. within the 2300 block of Horne Road just east of South Port Avenue.

Police believe the driver of a 1998 Mitsubishi, a 49-year-old man, was speeding when he collided with the rear of a 2018 Chevrolet.

Fortunately, neither the driver responsible nor the two occupants in the Chevrolet sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
