SAN ANTONIO, TX – Commuters into downtown San Antonio were faced with delays resulting from a rush-hour collision Tuesday morning.

According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident took place at about 8:40 a.m. within the northbound lanes of the interstate near the I-37 interchange.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, commuters were advised to seek an alternate route as first responders worked to clear the scene.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. All lanes have since been reopened.
