SAN ANTONIO, TX— A motorcycle accident left the rider injured in San Antonio this morning.
According to KSAT, the accident took place in the 5600 block of N. Loop 1604 W. around 7 in the morning. The motorcyclist attempted to pass several vehicles on the shoulder of the road at a very high speed. He drove towards a barrier but failed to notice a drainage ditch on the shoulder. After driving over the ditch his motorcycle crashed. He slid across the shoulder, but did not hit any other vehicles or people.
First responders took the man to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. He is currently in stable condition. It is unknown what charges if any he will face.
