SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver fatally collided with a motorcyclist on US Hwy 281 near Evans Rd Saturday, according to Fox San Antonio.
The female driver of a Honda Element struck the right side of the motorcyclist, Salvadore Tirado, 45, on Hwy 281 NB at around 5:12 a.m. She told police she could not avoid hitting the motorcyclist because he had stopped on the Hwy.
The impact ejected Tirado from his motorcycle. First responders pronounced Tirado dead at the scene.
Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
