Motorcyclist seriously injured in San Antonio crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident involving another vehicle in San Antonio early Saturday, according to KSAT.

The incident happened on the city’s North Side in the vicinity of Jackson Keller and Blanco Roads at 12:24 a.m.

The motorcycle rider was attempting to make a left turn when he dropped the bike in order to avoid a collision with a vehicle that was coming toward him, police said. But the vehicles still ended up colliding, and the motorcyclist sustained head trauma in the crash. He was transported to the hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. Authorities say the man was not wearing a helmet at the time.

The driver of the other vehicle stopped to help after the accident, and no charges were filed.
