BROWNSVILLE, TX – Investigators with the Brownsville Police Department are looking into the cause of a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Route 77 last Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 3 p.m. when the 74-year-old female driver of a 2016 Jeep and a 56-year-old female driver of a 2020 Hyundai backed up when it was unsafe to do so and struck each other.
Neither driver nor their passengers sustained significant injuries immediately following the accident.
