Multiple Injuries Reported After 3-Vehicle Chain-Reaction Crash in McAllen

MCALLEN, TX – At least two people sustained injuries resulting from a chain-reaction crash involving three vehicles near downtown McAllen earlier this week.

The accident was reported on April 26th shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of East Nolana Avenue and North McColl Road.

Police say the driver of a 2015 Chevrolet, a 40-year-old man, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided with the rear of a 2019 Ford. The force of the impact pushed the Ford into the rear of a third vehicle, a 2008 Jeep.

The driver in the Jeep was uninjured. However, both the man in the at-fault vehicle and the 78-year-old man in the Ford sustained unknown injuries as a result of the crash.
