Multiple injuries reported after north Brownsville rear-end crash

BROWNSVILLE, TX – At least two people were injured as the result of a rear-end collision in north Brownsville late last week.

The March 11th crash took place along I-69E near the overpass at Ruben M. Torres Boulevard.

Investigators believe the driver of a 2014 Volkswagen, a 45-year-old man, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided head-on with the rear of a 2007 Mercury.

The man responsible for the crash sustained serious injuries while the 64-year-old woman in the Mercury sustained minor injuries.
