Multiple injuries reported following 5-vehicle crash in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville have reported at least two injuries resulting from a five-vehicle crash on Old Alice Road. last Sunday.

The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. within the 3800 block of Old Alice Rd. near the intersection with Ruben M. Torres Boulevard.

Investigators believe the 79-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2007 Chevrolet failed to control her speed when she collided with the rear of another vehicle.

The woman responsible along with another 56-year-old woman involved in the wreck were injured as a result. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
