MCALLEN, TX – At least two people sustained injuries resulting from a rear-end collision near the McAllen International Airport Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred within the 200 block of West Jackson Avenue just east of the intersection with South Colonel Rowe Boulevard.
Investigators say the driver of a 2014 Nissan, a 39-year-old female, was inattentive to stopped traffic in front of her and collided with the rear of a 2019 Ford.
Both occupants in the Ford, the 30-year-old male driver and 60-year-old female passenger, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
