Multiple vehicles affected by brush fire in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Firefighters with the Corpus Christi Fire Department responded to a large brush fire that burnt several parked cars Thursday evening.

According to KIII, crews responded to the scene within the 1300 block of Saratoga Boulevard at about 5 p.m.

No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze, which was under control soon after the firefighter’s arrival.

Investigators believe low humidity and tall grass were factors in the blaze.
