Mustang crashes into firetruck following hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO, TX- A hit-and-run resulted in a Mustang crashing into a firetruck, according to News 4 San Antonio.

The accident occurred Thursday morning, near San Pedro Avenue, at around 3:00 a.m. A driver struck the Mustang, which was then sent flying into the firetruck. Highway 281 was shut down for several hours while the scene was being assessed. The driver of the Mustang is in stable condition, and no policemen or fire fighters sustained any injuries. San Antonio police are still searching for the person responsible for the hit-and-run.
