Nissan collides head-on with Ford on O’Day Pkwy.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were called to the scene of a head-on collision near Schanen Park last Thursday morning.

The accident, which took place at about 7:22 a.m., occurred along the O’Day Parkway near the intersection with Weber Road.

Investigators believe the 17-year-old male driver of a 2018 Nissan made a turn too wide and collided with the front driver’s side of a 2017 Ford.

Fortunately, neither the driver in the at-fault vehicle nor the 60-year-old man in the Ford was injured as a result of the crash.
