Officers Called to the Scene of Single-Vehicle Crash on S.W. 5th Ave. in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision in a residential neighborhood last week.

The accident took place on April 5th within the 100 block of Southwest 5th Street near the intersection with Ramireno Lane.

Officers say the driver of a 2002 Saturn, a 52-year-old man, was speeding when he collided head-on with an object along the roadway.

The man, who was the sole occupant in the vehicle, was unhurt. No other vehicles were involved in Monday’s Brownsville crash.
