MCALLEN, TX – Officers with the McAllen Police Department responded to a three-vehicle collision in West McAllen last Friday evening.
The accident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. along Farm-to-Market Road 2222 just north of I-2.
Investigators believe the driver of a 2005 Ford, a 16-year-old female, was traveling at a high rate of speed when she collided with the rear of a 2020 Lincoln, pushing the Lincoln into a third unknown vehicle.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. However, the Ford sustained significant damage and was towed away from the scene.
