Officers on the scene of multi-vehicle collision in Pharr

PHARR, TX – Officers with the Pharr Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision just south of downtown last Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. within the 600 block of Cypress Street east of U.S. 281.

Police believe the 40-year-old handicapped male driver of a 2000 Chevrolet made a faulty evasive action and collided head-on with a 2000 Honda.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the crash.
