Officers on the scene of multi-vehicle crash in Edinburg

EDINBURG, TX – Officers with the Edinburg Police Department were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision along Tower Road Sunday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. within the 1200 block of North Tower Road near the intersection with Escondido Lane.

Police say the 38-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2000 Ford made an unsafe turn and was struck by a 2013 Nissan.

Neither the man responsible for the crash nor the 52-year-old man in the Nissan was injured in the crash.
