Officers on the scene of North McAllen T-bone collision

MCALLEN, TX – Police responded to a two-vehicle collision near the McAllen hike and bike trail Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred along 2nd Street near the intersection with East Warbler Avenue at about 6:43 p.m.

Officers believe the driver of a 2017 Lincoln, a 22-year-old man, failed to yield the right of way to a 2012 Ford causing the Ford to crash into the rear passenger’s side of the Lincoln.

Fortunately, neither driver was injured as a result of Tuesday’s McAllen car accident.
