Officers on the scene of rear-end collision in Edinburg

EDINBURG, TX  – A 61-year-old woman was reportedly injured as the result of a multi-vehicle crash in south Edinburg last Tuesday evening.

Officers responded to the scene shortly before 8 p.m. within the 2500 block of East Canton Road near the intersection with Raul Longoria Road.

Police say the 22-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2006 Jeep was speeding when he collided with the rear of a 2015 Nissan.

The man responsible for the crash was unhurt. However, the 61-year-old woman in the Nissan sustained unknown injuries.
