Officers respond to hit-and-run crash on Mitchell St.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision in South San Antonio last Wednesday night.

The accident was reported at about 9:39 p.m. within the 400 block of Mitchell Street near the intersection with Probert Street.

Police say the unknown driver of a gray Chevrolet made an unsafe turn and collided head-on with the rear driver’s side of a 2019 Nissan.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash. However, the driver responsible left the scene before any authorities arrived.
