Officers respond to rear-and collision in Brownsville shopping center

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department were called to the scene of a rear-end collision near Texas Southmost College on Thursday, February 4th.

The two-vehicle collision took place just after 11 a.m. within the 1500 block of East Madison Street near the intersection with International Boulevard.

Police say the 31-year-old female driver of a 2007 GMC reversed when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the front end of a 2009 Cadillac.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the collision.
