Officials ID motorcyclist who died following wrong-way collision on SPID

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a wrong-way collision on the 10300block of South Padre Island Dr Sunday, according to KIII.

Sarah Voss, 30, was driving west in the eastbound lanes of SPID when she struck Eutimio “Tim” Barrera as he was stopped on his motorcycle at a red light.

Rescue crews transported Barrera to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Voss drove over 800 feet after hitting Barrera before stopping.

Authorities arrested Voss and charged her with intoxication manslaughter and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
