SAN PATRICIO COUNTY, TX – According to KIII TV, a man died after he fell off an oil rig moored at the Kiewit bulkheads into the water below Saturday.
Rescue crews conducted a search and rescue operation and located the body of Ricardo Jazael Loredo Padron, 29, around 5:30 p.m. They pronounced Padron dead at the scene.
Padron’s inflatable personal floatation device did not deploy and may have contributed to his death.
The incident is under investigation.
