ORANGE GROVE, TX – An accident near Orange Grove left one person dead and four hospitalized on Wednesday afternoon, KRIS TV reports.
The crash occurred on County Road 220 around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
All victims were traveling southeast on CR-220 in a Chevy Silverado when they approached a curve at an unsafe speed. The driver lost control and left the road before hitting a fence post and rolling over multiple times.
The 25-year-old driver was ejected and died at the scene. One passenger was transported by helicopter with serious injures and the other three were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
