One dead in Live Oak County accident

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – An accident in Live Oak County on Saturday morning left one person dead, according to KIII TV.

The accident occurred around 2:50 a.m. as the victim was traveling south on I-37 in the area north of Three Rivers.

The 49-year-old man lost control of his GMC Sierra and swerved into the median before striking a guardrail and falling down an embankment. He was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.

It is not clear what caused this crash. No other vehicles were involved.
