PORTLAND, TX – One person was injured following a car accident in Portland on Sunday, according to police reports of the event.
The accident took place on Railroad Avenue, near Broadway Avenue, at around 7:50 a.m. on Sunday. The crash occurred when the driver of a 2016 Jeep was inattentive and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. That vehicle collided with a 2016 Toyota, injuring the Toyota’s driver.
