SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man was struck and killed by an SUV while crossing a West Side road late Wednesday night.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred near the intersection of North Zarzamora Street and Culebra Road when the 51-year-old man was struck by a black Lexus SUV.
The driver of the SUV had the green light and the man was was crossing out of the designated crosswalk. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
The driver stopped to render aid and is cooperating with the police investigation. No charges are expected to be filed against that individual at this time.
