SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials have reported a single fatality resulting from an auto vs. pedestrian crash on a busy San Antonio road Tuesday night.
According to Fox San Antonio, the accident occurred when a man was attempting to cross Potranco Road near the intersection with Hunt Lane and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The man was rushed to University Hospital where he died while undergoing surgery.
The driver involved said the man stepped out into the roadway too late for her to swerve out of the way. Police believe the driver had the green light at the time of the crash. They are not expected to face any charges at this time.
