PENITAS, TX – A late-night police chase in Penitas ended in a single-vehicle collision Sunday night.
The crash occurred at about 11:11 p.m. along Mile 2 Road near the intersection with N Bensten Palm Drive. Police say an unidentified man in a 2007 Chevrolet was fleeing officers when he collided with a fixed object just east of the intersection.
No information with regard to the circumstances leading up to the chase has been made available at this time.
Luckily, no other motorists were injured as a result of the crash.
