Plane crash at Houston Executive Airport leaves 1 injured

BROOKSHIRE, TX – At least one passenger suffered injuries following a plane accident at Houston Executive Airport Tuesday, KRGV reports.

The plane attempted to take off from the airport when it crashed through a fence and then ignited sometime Tuesday morning.

It took firefighters several hours to finally put out the blaze. No major injuries were reported to authorities, though one passenger said they suffered back pain after the ordeal.

The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
