MCALLEN, TX – According to KURV, a driver fatally collided with another vehicle while fleeing from a hit-and-run near Nolana Ave and Jackson Rd Thursday.
Claudia Ann Carrizales, 29, struck the vehicle driven by Cynthia Ann Lopez, 46, around 7 p.m. Lopez died and two other occupants of her car were taken to the hospital.
Carrizales is currently being treated for the injuries she sustained in the accident. She is held under guard and faces multiple charges connected to the collisions.
