SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police chased down the wrong vehicle on Friday night after a man was hit on I-35 at AT&T Parkway, reports Fox San Antonio.
At around 10:30 p.m. police on I-35 saw a man who jumped the median get clipped by a car. They then tried to pull over a black BMW that matched the vehicle’s description. However, the car did not stop and instead fled police, leading them on a chase downtown.
The BMW was not actually involved in the hit and run accident but the occupants still fled from the police. They crashed their vehicle before fleeing on foot.
The vehicle who hit the pedestrian has still not been located.
