SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio Police officers responded to reports early Monday morning that a vehicle had crashed into a power pole in the far Northeast of the city, resulting in a power outage that required City Public Service employees to work on restoring service.

Police arrived at the intersection of Walzem Road and Montgomery Drive at 3:30 a.m. and found that the vehicle had been abandoned. Running the plates revealed that it had been reported as stolen. Investigations are ongoing.
