Police respond to 2-vehicle collision on S. Minnesota Ave.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash near Los Palomas Wildlife Management Area Sunday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. within the intersection of South Minnesota Avenue and California Road.

Police believe the 20-year-old female driver of a 2002 GMC failed to yield the right of way to a 2002 Jeep causing the two vehicles to collide at the intersection.

Neither the woman responsible for the crash nor the two elderly occupants in the Jeep were injured as a result of the crash.
