Portland woman struck, killed in Robstown pedestrian crash

ROBSTOWN, TX – A woman from Portland was struck and killed after an auto-pedestrian crash east of Robstown Wednesday evening.

According to the Alice Echo-News Journal, the woman was struck while walking along McKinzie Road at about 7:14 p.m.

Investigators say the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south in the dim-lit roadway when he struck 34-year-old Allison Danielle Cash.

Cash was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear if the driver involved will face any charges at this time.
