Rear-end collision reported along Sioux Rd.

PHARR, TX – Officers with the Pharr Police Department responded to a rear-end collision along West Sioux Road Saturday morning.

The accident occurred shortly before 4 a.m. within the 100 block of W. Sioux Road at the intersection with North Sugar Road.

Police believe the 36-year-old male driver of a 2018 Kia was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop in time and collided with the rear of a 2005 Chevrolet.

Neither the man responsible for the collision nor the 51-year-old man in the Chevrolet was injured as a result of the crash.
