CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a two-vehicle rear-end collision on South Staples Street last Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was reported at about 1:44 p.m. near the intersection of S. Staple Street and Timbergate Drive.
Investigators believe the 17-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2012 Mini Cooper failed to notice stopped traffic in front of him and collided with the rear of a 2014 Honda.
Neither the driver responsible nor the 45-year-old woman in the Honda was injured as an immediate result of the collision.
