SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT12, the San Antonio Fire Department is investigating a crash that involved a vacant firetruck.
The accident took place on July 12th at Benton Street and Stafford Street. A firetruck was parked near Fire Station 5 when it began rolling down Stafford St. The truck rolled for about a block while firefighters chased it.
It came to a stop when it struck a car, telephone pole, fence, and house.
The accident is currently under investigation to determine why the truck rolled away.
