SAN ANTONIO, TX – Multiple lanes were shut down as the result of a collision on I-35 in San Antonio Wednesday morning.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate near Loop 1604.

The circumstances leading up to the northeast San Antonio car accident are unclear at this time. Motorists have been advised to avoid this portion of the interstate as at least two right lanes are closed while emergency crews work to clear the scene.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash.
