San Antonio Man Charged with Intoxication Manslaughter After West Side Crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man is facing charges of intoxication assault following a multi-vehicle crash on the west side Monday.

According to KSAT, 50-year-old Carlos Landin was traveling on the wrong side of Bartmer Ave. when he T-boned another vehicle near the intersection with Benrus Blvd.

The force of the impact sent the second vehicle into a car parked nearby. That driver of the t-boned vehicle was transported to a local hospital to be treated for potentially life-threatening injuries. A passenger was also hospitalized, but for less serious injuries.

Landin was unhurt and was taken into custody by police.
