San Antonio man hit by eight train cars

SAN ANTONIO, TX – On Thursday night, the San Antonio Fire Department assisted a man who survived being run over by at least eight train cars in the Southeast Side.

The man was lying between the train tracks near Nopal Street and Westfall Avenue, according to KSAT. At approximately 10:30 p.m. a passing train ran over the man multiple times. Officials are unsure why the man was on the tracks at the time of the accident.

First responders were amazed to discover that the man was alive and did not suffer life-threatening injuries from the accident. They transported the man to University hospital and reported that he was in stable condition.
