SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police and Firefighters in San Antonio responded to a firey rollover collision south of downtown early Tuesday morning.
According to KENS, the crash occurred at the intersection of Zarzamora Street and Mally Boulevard at about 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a single-vehicle engulfed in flames with one man injured on the side of the roadway. Witnesses told police they saw a vehicle swerve off the road and into a ravine before rolling several times and coming to a stop in the nearby field.
The sole occupant in the vehicle was able to escape before the vehicle was completely engulfed. He was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
