San Antonio man killed following collision with VIA bus

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was killed after a southeast San Antonio crash involving a VIA bus late Sunday night.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Commercial Avenue and Grosvenor Street.

Police believe a silver sedan ran a red light and was T-boned by a bus. The sedan’s driver was ejected from the vehicle as it drifted into a nearby parking lot and then landed on top of him.

The driver, identified only as a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two individuals on the bus were evaluated by paramedics and released from the scene.
