San Antonio man killed in single-vehicle crash on Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man from San Antonio was killed following a single-vehicle crash northeast of downtown Saturday afternoon.

According to My San Antonio, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the 6200 block of North Loop 1604 at about 1:30 p.m.

Police believe 73-year-old Gordon Travis Hill, Jr. lost control of his pickup truck causing it to spin around and collide with a cement pillar. Hill was pronounced deceased at the scene after emergency crews extracted him from the pickup truck.

No further information with regard to the cause of the crash has been released.
