San Antonio pedestrian killed after South Side crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A male pedestrian was struck and killed while attempting to cross a South Side street Tuesday evening.

According to News 4 SA, the collision was reported near the intersection of South Zarzamora Street and West Mayfield Boulevard at about 8:00 p.m.

Police say the victim was crossing the street outside of the intersection when he was struck by an elderly woman who was unable to stop in time.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
