SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man from San Antonio was killed after being struck by a pickup truck while attempting to cross a street south of downtown Wednesday night.
According to KTSA, the accident was reported around 8:00 p.m. within the 200 block of Moursund Boulevard.
Police believe the man was attempting to cross the road near Dorsey Street when he was struck by the driver behind the wheel of a white GMC pickup truck. The driver immediately fled the scene of the crash.
Witnesses performed CPR on the victim until emergency crews arrived on the scene. He was transported to BAMC where he was pronounced dead a short time after.
