San Antonio woman hospitalized following hit-and-run collision

SAN ANTONIO, TX – One woman was transported to the hospital following a hit-and-run collision southwest of downtown San Antonio Wednesday night.

According to KTSA, the incident was reported along Southwest Military Drive at about 10:30 p.m.

Police say a 27-year-old woman was struck by a 2012 or 2014 Mazda 3 before the driver sped away from the scene. She was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center to be treated for injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening.

No further identifying information with regard to the driver responsible for the crash has been released to the public.
