San Antonio Woman Hospitalized Following Northwest Side Pedestrian Accident

SAN ANTONIO, CA – One woman was rushed to the hospital after she was struck by a vehicle on the Northwest Side Saturday evening.

According to KSAT, the incident occurred when the pedestrian was attempting to cross within the 9200 block of Wurzbach Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The victim, a woman in her 30s or 40s, was not in the designated crosswalk at the time of the crash. She was transported to University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries sustained in the accident.

The driver involved remained at the scene and is continuing to cooperate with the investigation. No charges are expected to be filed against that individual at this time.
